No country for old men
The film ‘no country for old men’ consists of many attributes which keep the audience at the edge of their seats due to the high-tension and suspense created throughout the film.
Suspense is a feeling of uncertainty and anxiety about the outcome of certain actions, most often referring to an audience's perceptions in a dramatic work. Suspense is not exclusive to fiction, though Suspense may operate in any situation where there is a lead up to a big event or dramatic moment, with tension being a primary emotion felt as part of the situation.
A prime example, when one of the main characters is waiting for the enemy to approach him and open the door and so he waits in silence and turns the light off, at this point the audience are clueless of what is going to happen but at the same time the tension has grown majorly and they are just waiting for a shock to occur.
